I think I need a haircut. Mum and me went out to the park last night. Of course, I did the usual barking at the squirrels and zooming past her and her friend Kelly. Sometimes I zoomed so fast they couldn't even see me (IMHO). The water was rushing very fast in the river, and I wanted to go check it out.. but mum said... NO MAX.. so I didn't. Anyway, ya... so, I got all these pokey things sticking into my fur and poking at my soft tummy.. I didn't like it much. Mum had to bath me to get them all out.. so, I figure, if I get shorter hair (i'm really smart) then I woudn't get so many things stuck into my fur.
You should have seen the big furry monster at the river.. I was gonna go after it. It was all wet and had a wierd shaped tail... I think they call it a 'beaver' it was sooo huge...well..I could take it.. I'm a tuff Mo'fo when I have to be... but I decided it wasn't worth my time.. plus, mum told me not to go into the river. Wish I had a pic. Oh well, we shall meet again ya big, hairy, wet, flat tailed monster... I shall be victorious!

Crazy hours

Hey. So, I went out with my mum today. She has not been spending enough time with me lately, and has been gone quite a lot in the last week. She tells me she'll be 'back soon' but sometimes its DARK outside by the time she gets back. Since I have no concept of time, I'm happy when she comes home, and forget that I didn't get my walk. She said something to our neighbor about working 60 hours last week. Whatever that means. I just don't want her to do THAT again. She is too tired to go for walks and thats just not good. Although, when she works that late, she sometimes takes me to work and that is fun too.. so many things to sniff. I love sneaking away and running up and down the halls. Also, I like to scare people when they walk by her 'cubicle', I like to wait till they get REAL close and then jump out and bark at them.. whooo hooo...scares them quite well, I must say... clutching their hearts and jumping in fright!!! Ya.. I'm a bad@ss..

My name is Max and I am the cutest dog in the whole world. My mum is Cortney and she takes care of me... actually, I take care of her, making sure that I keep bad guys away. Man, when they walk by MY house, I just bark and bark... they get the message and high-tail it out of there! Aw yeah, I am a serious badass mo'fo.
